Continuing the black and white theme, here is an old one I took four years ago but I still like the scene. It is tranquil yet stark and looks exactly as it was, a cold bright winter’s day on the South Glamorgan coast, Wales.
I was walking over a rocky outcrop to see what was on the other side and stood up to see this. I remember thinking immediately it would make a good mono photograph. These guys were hardy, it was a cold beach and I didn’t see one of them actually catch anything to take home for tea!
Anyway, not much to report other than that, it was taken at 17mm on a Canon 5D Mark II and from memory, was handheld at 1/125th sec.
