Grignan, France – Mystery

Still on the subject of the road trip through France, these were taken on our way down at a little town called Grignan, which is quite near Montelimar, in the south east portion.

We arrived in late afternoon and by the time we had set-up camp, the sun was failing and the light becoming beautiful. The area is popular for its lavender and sun flowers, neither of which were present during our fleeting visit. The town itself is built around an old stone Castle on a hill, so it looks quite beautiful as you approach in the evening sunlight. The first pic is not a stunner but lets you see what the place looks like.

Upon walking around the castle I noticed the moon was quite high and sat perfectly near one of the towers of the Castle and I shot the second image. The processing took a little longer but hopefully it works!
